By accessing or using Usable ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
1.2 Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Usable is a shared memory platform for developer teams that provides:
- Memory Fragments: Store and organize knowledge, recipes, solutions, templates, and other information
- Semantic Search: AI-powered search across your team's knowledge base
- Knowledge Graphs: Visualize relationships between information
- Workspaces: Collaborate with team members in shared or private workspaces
- Integrations: Connect with development tools via MCP (Model Context Protocol)
2.1 Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable access to the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:
- Perform scheduled maintenance (with advance notice)
- Make updates to improve the Service
- Temporarily suspend the Service for security or technical reasons
2.2 Beta Features
Some features may be designated as "beta" or "experimental." These features are provided "as is" and may not work as intended. We may discontinue beta features at any time without notice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account using our authentication provider (Keycloak). You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Your account is inactive for more than 12 months
- Required by law
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.
4. User Content and Data
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process Your Content to provide the Service
- Generate embeddings and semantic relationships for search functionality
- Back up Your Content for disaster recovery
- Display Your Content to users you authorize (workspace members)
4.2 Content Restrictions
You agree not to upload, store, or share content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Harasses, threatens, or harms others
- Contains personal data of third parties without consent
4.3 Content Monitoring
We do not actively monitor Your Content but reserve the right to:
- Review content if we receive complaints
- Remove content that violates these Terms
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
4.4 Data Portability
You can export Your Content at any time using our export tools. Upon account termination, we will retain Your Content for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
5. Workspaces and Collaboration
5.1 Workspace Ownership
The user who creates a workspace ("Workspace Owner") has full control over:
- Inviting and removing members
- Setting access permissions
- Managing workspace settings
- Deleting the workspace
5.2 Shared Workspaces
When you join a shared workspace:
- You agree to collaborate respectfully with other members
- The Workspace Owner controls access to workspace content
- You may only access content you have permission to view
- You must comply with the workspace's usage policies
5.3 Leaving a Workspace
You may leave a workspace at any time. Content you created remains in the workspace unless you delete it before leaving.
6. Subscription and Payments
6.1 Subscription Plans
Usable offers:
- Free Plan: Limited features and storage
- Paid Plans: Enhanced features, increased storage, and priority support
6.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed:
- Monthly or annually as selected
- Automatically renewed unless cancelled
- In advance at the start of each billing period
6.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial months or unused services
- Upon downgrade to free plan, content exceeding free plan limits may be archived
6.4 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to renewals after the notice period.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Usable IP
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Flowcore and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Claim ownership of any part of the Service
7.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without compensation or attribution to you.
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with the Service's operation
- Scrape or crawl the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service
- Use the Service to spam or phish others
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
9. AI and Automated Processing
9.1 AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to:
- Generate semantic embeddings for search
- Suggest related content
- Provide insights and recommendations
AI-generated suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.
9.2 Training Data
We do not use Your Content to train AI models for other users or third parties. Your data remains private within your workspaces.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1 Data Collection
We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.
10.2 GDPR Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Data portability
- Objection to processing

11. Third-Party Services
11.1 Integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., GitHub, Slack). Your use of those services is subject to their terms.

We are not responsible for content on external websites linked from the Service.
12. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
12.1 "As Is" Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS (YOU SHOULD MAINTAIN BACKUPS)
12.3 User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining backups of Your Content
- Ensuring Your Content complies with laws
- Managing access to your account
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flowcore, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your Content
- Your use of the Service
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction - Faroe Islands or Denmark], without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Arbitration
